Grandpa Stockman's 90th birthday party~

Listen up...I'm 9 months old!

Your Stats:
You are 20.6 pounds, 45th percentile.
You are ??? inches long- 74th percentile.
Head is in the 75th percentile.

What you are eating:
Puffs! You love picking up the puffs on your own without mine or dad's help. You have also tried mac n' cheese, pasta pickups, yogurt, mashed potatoes, very little pieces of Ritz crackers, bananas, and green beans. I'm a huge worry-wort and can't get your food into small enough pieces to prevent you from choking. You get very frustrated when you don't get what you want when it comes to food. You wave your hands and toss the spoon full of food out of my hands if you want something different. You sip very well out of your sippy cup, like such a big boy. You like to throw that too! Dr. A said to stick with the Aliementum for a few more months and then we'll sample some real milk at 12 months. For now, Alimentum and water. And a little bit of apple juice, about an ounce a day.

Play time, personality and other skills:
You love to wrestle, throw anything you get your hands on, bang things together, yell, wave bye bye, wave hello, say mom mommmm mom mommmm, da da da da da, Jake (comes out Yekeshhh.) You aren't quite walking yet. I'm not sure you really want to either. You love 'cruisin' around the furniture and crawling faster then we can keep up with. You also escape anything we block you into. By that, I mean crawling under tables, through tables, ect. You slither around! You are a true boy. You don't like to sit still and you are very determined and strong willed.

Sleeping:
This should really be posted up in the skills section. You like to go down about 7:30 or 8:00. You usually sleep until at least 8:00 (daycare days, we wake you about 7:20.) Sometimes on the weekends you will make it until 9:00 AM. That is such a treat for your dad and I. You also have turned into quite the napper. Usually you take a 2.5 hour morning nap and about a one hour nap in the afternoon.

Summary:
Overall, we kind of like you and plan on keeping you. We love you soooo much!

Proof that you are cute, lovable, crazy, and indeed do some of what I say above:

To-do list for 2010- Tear an ACL, check!

Danny had surgery on his ACL last week. He tore it in Mexico while playing basketball in a pool. He was in the country for less than four hours before this happened. He was on the first flight out the following day. Needless to say, he wasn't very happy. This was only the 4th time he has torn it though...The surgeon assured us that Danny has put his seven children through college. He is recovering wonderfully! He hobbles around and gets from B to C (bathroom to couch.) Very soon, he will be chasing after Cole again.

Cole, why don't you ever smile for the camera?

You've got a little something on your left cheek there, looks like sweet potatoes maybe?

My latest "masterpiece." An interesting piece to add to the living room. Lots of opinions on this...It works for now! :)
