5 Days Old, Hanging out in a tanning bed

Little Cole has Jaundice. He has to be under these lights in order to get his levels down. While he looks so cute, his mommy feels so bad. We hate putting the goggles on him. He doesn't seem to mind once he is asleep. We can only take him out to feed him and change him. Then he must go right back in. We will have lots of days to make up for the lack of snuggling!

    Both Kate and Chase had severe jaundice, and bili-blankets when they came home. Each had them for about a week. Hang in there - it will be over soon.
