Little Cole has Jaundice. He has to be under these lights in order to get his levels down. While he looks so cute, his mommy feels so bad. We hate putting the goggles on him. He doesn't seem to mind once he is asleep. We can only take him out to feed him and change him. Then he must go right back in. We will have lots of days to make up for the lack of snuggling!

Michael Cole Povondra

Michael Cole Povondra was born on May 8th at 6:45 PM. We now have experienced the greatest moment in our lives. He was 8 Pounds, 5 Ounces and 21 delicious inches. After a long labor with a C-Section Finale, we finally have our little peanut. More pictures of Cole to come!

A Rare Sight...

Danny working on this tan while doing yard work...he pulled out a ten foot wooden panel posted in our front yard on Sunday that marked the water line. I was on the porch watching while sipping my diet coke with complete confidence he would conquer the beast. Right, Dan? :)

40 Weeks...Yes, still pregnant.

I am not scowling at the baby, just having a little pep talk.

We went to the doctor today, he didn't seem to have much sympathy for me. Apparently I am not the the first patient he has seen go over-due! Nothing is progressing so we are scheduled to go in on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 to get something moving. He said, we will have the baby out by Friday. Hopefully not all 9 of the estimated pounds will greet us...we are hoping for more like 8 :)
